Welcome to Jefferson High school.  My name is Jerry Brannen, and I am the campus principal of JHS.  I am very excited to begin a new year in serving the community of Jefferson.  As the leader of JHS, I am looking forward to what the 2022-2023 school year will bring and the great things that are going to happen for our students and staff.  

I am beginning my 29th year in Education and my second year at Jefferson High School.  I have served as a teacher, coach, bus driver and administrator throughout my career.  I chose the field of education because every student deserves the best education that can be afforded to them and  to help students realize and achieve their goals.

The staff and administration of JHS will provide our students with the best education possible in order to meet their educational needs.  The education that students receive at JHS will enable them to exit high school and be successful in whatever endeavor they choose.  We want our students to become successful, productive citizens who will represent JHS and the community with pride and integrity.  I look forward to meeting and working with all school and community stakeholders to foster lasting partnerships that will enable the best teaching and learning environment for our students.
